Tenant Configuration
The settings configuration screen provides a central location for managing global settings that apply to all wings using EQuAD. Some of these global settings can be overridden at the Wing or Shop level through their respective settings
To manage EQuAD settings, go to the configuration page and click the Settings button in the Platform configuration section.
The instructions below assume you have an Access Role that allows you to perform these actions. If you aren't able to follow the instructions as written, please check with your Admin to make sure you have the correct access.
These global settings are applicable to all Wings. It is recommended to maintain the default configurations unless modifications are necessary.
Auto Assign Role to Wing owner - When creating a new Wing in EQuAD, select the Role to be assigned to the QA Chief Inspector. The default setting is “QA Chief Inspector” Role.
Default access Role for Shop notifications - Shop notification routing in EQuAD defaults to users with the "Supervisor" Role. To change this default for all Shop notifications, select a different Role. This global setting can be customized for individual shops within specific Wings using the Shop configuration management tab. The current default Role is "Supervisor".
Language Library - Select the relevant language library. The default setting is “EN-US”.
Local RIL category - Select the category for Local RIL items. When a Wing performs a Local RIL inspection, it will be saved under this selected category. This categorization helps differentiate Local RIL inspections from Master RIL inspections within E&I Plans and reports. The default category is "Local RIL".
QA Chief Inspector Role - Select the Role you wish to designate as the "QA Chief Inspector." The default selection is "QA Chief Inspector Role."
