MSEP Reports

The MSEP (Maintenance Standardization and Evaluation Program) report gives you a real-time snapshot of a Organization's MSEP compliance for a selected period, combining your MSEP score, inspection performance, observations, findings, and more into a single view.

Generate an MSEP report

  1. Go to Reports in the main menu
  2. Under Report Type, select MSEP
  3. Under Select Business Unit, select the Organization to report on
  1. Under Select Date, choose the month and year to report on

The report populates below once you've made your selections.

Click Print Report to open the print options for this report.


MSEP score

Shows the Organization's overall MSEP score, its compliance band (for example, Marginal), pass rate, and any deductions from observations.

Inspection performance

Shows completion rate (inspections completed out of those planned) and pass rate (inspections passed out of those completed).

Observations

Shows the total number of observations logged for the Organization, broken down by type:

  • DSV (Direct Safety Violation)
  • TDV (Technical Data Violation)
  • UCR (Unsatisfactory Condition Report)

Also shows the cumulative score impact those observations have had on the MSEP score. See Observations for more on how each type is defined.

Inspections performance by type

Shows pass rate by inspection type, with the number passed out of the number performed for each.

Findings

Shows the number of findings logged, broken down by severity (Major, Minor) and category (Cat I, Cat II).

Missed carded items

Shows the total number of missed carded items for the month, and identifies any of those that occurred 3 or more times (high-missed) during the same month.

Report notes

Add comments to the report using the Report Notes section at the bottom of the page. This section is collapsible and stays available on the report going forward.
