note

You only see the Organizations you have been assigned to. If you don't see your Organization yet, your Tenant Admin has not created it in EQuAD.

Configure your Organization

Once your Tenant Admin creates your Organization in EQuAD, you'll receive an email notification. From there, the settings are yours to manage.

  1. Go to Configuration > Organization
  2. Review and configure your Organization's settings

See Configure Your Organization for details.

Create Work Centers

Before you can add people, they need a Work Center to belong to. Work Centers represent the work centers and offices in your Organization, and they establish the chain of command HG EQuAD uses for notification routing, reviews, and approvals. Build them from the top down, starting with your highest-level management office and working down to individual work centers.

See Work Centers for details.

Add people

Before you can build an E&I Plan or assign inspections, the people who'll actually carry them out need accounts and roles in HG EQuAD. This includes everyone from QA Inspectors documenting inspections to Work Center Supervisors reviewing them.

  1. Go to Configuration > People
  2. Click Add new Person
  3. Enter the person's details and assign a Role

See Person for details.

Build your E&I Plan

Your E&I Plan combines the master RIL your Tenant Admin created with any local inspection tasks you've added, giving your Organization its own requirements on top of the baseline every Organization shares.

See E&I Plan for details.

Review your E&I Plan

Before an E&I Plan takes effect, it goes through a review sequence starting at the work center level and moving up through your chain of command.

See Review an E&I Plan for details.

Document your inspections

Once your E&I Plan is approved, your QA Inspectors document the inspections it generates each period.

See Documenting Your Inspections for details.

You're ready

Once you've configured your Organization, added your people, and built your E&I Plan, you're ready to begin conducting and documenting inspections.
